Knoll au Louvre (Used Hardcover) - Christine Rae
This is the catalogue published in advance of the exhibition held at Pavillon de Marsan, Musée des Arts Décoratifs 107, rue de Rivoli, Paris; from 12 January to 12 March 1972.
Probably no design movement of this century has added more architectural innovations to the contemporary landscape of Europe and America than that of the Bauhaus. The dialectic of the Bauhaus furnished the conceptual tools that Knoll put to such good use in the company's three decades of development. The exhibit catalogue includes Knoll furniture designs from 1937 to the 1960s.
