Condition: This vintage book is in Very Good Condition. There are a couple of pages with creases and one with a tear. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The cover shows very little wear.

The Merck Manual has become one of the most widely used of all medical textbooks. This edition retains the basic format of its immediate predecessor though the text has been thoroughly revised and much of it completely rewritten. As before, coverage is mainly medical; surgical procedures, where mentioned, are seldom described. Generic names of drugs have been used wherever possible.
