Strephon's Revenge: A Satire on the Oxford Toafts (Used Hardcover) - Nicholas Amhurst (Rare, 1718)

This is an extremely old, extremely rare book. We believe the original portion of the book dates back to 1718, with some repair and refurbishing done over time. 

Also known as Strepkon's Revenge, Nicholas Amhurst satirizes Oxford morals in this text, possibly contributing to his own expulsion from the school the following year. 

Condition: Very old book in Good/Acceptable condition. Book is pulling away from the binding with some loose pages. There is also some tanning of pages and damage to the boards from it's notable age. This is a former library/museum book, so some stamping may exist inside. Please see pictures for more details.
