Condition: These books are in Very Good Condition. There is only very light wear to the dust covers. The pages are clean and unmarked except for the previous owner's name written in ink on the flyleaf. The bundle includes five of the six volumes. Missing is Volume 6, The Sage of Monticello.

The previous owner has noted that in Volume 3 a section of pages has been miss-bound by the publisher. Pages 291-322 are missing, replaced by a duplicate of pages 387-418.

Noted historian and biographer Dumas Malone was the Thomas Jefferson Biographer in Residence at the University of Virginia. This book bundle includes five of the six volumes in Malone's comprehensive biography of Thomas Jefferson.
